Mission Statement

The mission of Florida Rural Legal Services is to provide accessible legal assistance

that empowers low-income and disadvantaged populations through

• Effective advocacy on behalf of those affected by adverse conditions.

• Outreach to persons isolated by geography, language, race, gender,

disability, age, economic status or other circumstances;

• Vigorous participation within the community Infrastructure;

• Provisions of comprehensive community education and support;

• So as to promote equal justice and compassionately support people,

both individually and collectively, in their efforts to gain the power,

resources and knowledge to participate fully in society.
