(FORT PIERCE, Fla.)- Florida Rural Legal Services (FRLS) attorneys are strong believers that outreach programs provide an opportunity to foster collaborations with community partners and reach people who would not otherwise come through our doors.
During FRLS’ year of service, the non profit law firm has aimed to increased its outreach program.
To that end, FRLS' Fort Pierce Managing Attorney Iola Mosley has successfully secured an outreach opportunity that features our team as guest speakers at upcoming TLC Women's Ministry workshops on the Treasure Coast.
“We left knowing what we can and cannot do as tenants,” said Mary Jackson, president of TLC Women's Ministry. She and others gathered to hear Mosley.
TLC Women's Ministry would like to have Florida Rural Legal Services present other topics at other upcoming community events. Next workshop will include senior issues.
Legal outreach includes a wide range of programs and events that proactively reach individuals with legalneeds. Community presentations, legal clinics, mobile legal options, and “office hours” at community partner locations are all examples of legal outreach programs.
Those looking for services or outreach seminars provided by FRLS are urged to call 1-888-582-3410 or email Sueanna.Jones@FRLS.org .
