(FORT PIERCE, Fla.)- Florida Rural Legal Services (FRLS) is excited to announce its 2023 Holiday Health Fair & Toy Giveaway, an inclusive community event set to take place on Wednesday, Dec. 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the 500 Orange Event Venue, 500 Orange Ave.
A Holistic Celebration: Health Services, Legal Aid, and Toy Giveaway
More than just a seasonal celebration, the 2023 Holiday Health Fair & Toy Giveaway is a community-focused initiative that seamlessly blends health services, legal support, and the spirit of giving for families in need.

"As we enter this season of giving, we must not forget those in our community who are most in need of assistance," said Iola Mosley, managing attorney for FRLS' Fort Pierce Office. "Often times our friends and neighbors need guidance to navigate the complicated legal process. It has been shown that recovery from chronic illness may be impeded by the stress created when a person is faced with a lawsuit. Florida Rural Legal Services in partnership with Allegheny Franciscan Ministries entered into a medical legal partnership in order to assist our fellow citizens who are suffering chronic illness, to cope with legal issues, which may add stress and compromise their recovery."
