(WAUCHULA, Fl.a) – Florida Rural Legal Services (FRLS) hosted Hurricane Ian survivors at the Hardee County Civic Center for an outreach event called Recovery Day, to offer civil legal aid on Monday, March 20.

Recovery Day is an event gathering that consisted of FRLS, The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and other local community agencies.

Following a massive tragedy, Hurricane Ian survivors are seeking aid from multiple organizations, including Florida Rural Legal Services. FRLS Attorney Tamara Williams was at the event to make sure survivors were aware of the civil legal services that the non-profit lawfirm offers.
