Below is what the NOAA expects of the 2023 hurricane season
Predictions for 2023
The NOAA has predicted a "near-normal" hurricane season for the Atlantic. It is suspected that there will be between 12-17 named storms. Of those storms, 5-9 have the potential to turn into hurricanes. As you can see below, there is a 40% chance of a near-normal season and a 30% chance of both below and above-normal season.
