FRLS supports Immokalee's Farmworkers Through Health Awareness and Assistance
In Immokalee, a community grappling with high rates of diabetes among migrant farmworkers, Florida Rural Legal Services is addressing critical gaps in healthcare access.
Partnering with local health organizations, FRLS has hosted a free Diabetes Awareness Health Fair, providing essential screenings and health resources tailored for farmworkers facing unique challenges in their living conditions.
FRLS is dedicated to improving the overall well-being of the community by offering vital services that address both legal and healthcare needs for those who often lack access.
